Ruth on the phone.

A series of chronologically ordered photographs taken by Nigel Shafran between 1995 and the 26th January 2004, the book takes the form of a novel without words. The sequence shows Ruth, first at the end of the telephone receiver, later on a cordless phone, the one constant as time and place change around her. Editor: Paul Elliman. Design: Julie Peeters.

As the yearbook will contain loads of photos of fabrics and models and such there's no doubt that imagery will be one of our main focuses.

Here's a lovely book of photographs with little attention to type.
