Yearbook meeting # 1

Today we had a meeting with both Paul and new course leader Suzi.
The first topic that came up was the fact that last year's yearbook wasn't successful.

Suzi said this was due to a number of reasons one being the lack of dialogue between course tutors and
the front cover didn't show what fashion was about. She also pointed out that this years yearbook should be more like a fashion magazine. The main function of a yearbook is so the student can look back at their year and say 'Oh that's me and that's my page' however the course tutors wish for it to be more than that and truly reflect the course.


In preparation for the meeting we had prepared contextual boards so the course leaders could get a jist of what we had in mind. The tutors loved what we had shown and it seems as though we're on the same page.

The main buzzwords taken from the meeting was -

Considered
Magazine
Layout
Print finishes
and most of all FASHION.

Fred was unable to attend the meeting so the group spoke to Amber to clarify a few things.
