Looking back and taking a break from the designs at the moment. I think I'm thinking too much about the finished piece and doing irrelevant stuff like drawing buildings which have nothing to do about Music necessarily. To combat this I've been looking at vinyl cover designs.
Love the colours and composition on this one. This has a very similar colour pallet to the one I'm looking at. It also shares a similar illustrative approach.

This one has a photographic and minimal approach. It may a key of keeping it simple.
