Today, me and and Chris Lawson ventured out into town to visit a few record stores.
This was to get get some useful primary research for the production of our vinyls. Lawson is currently producing a vinyl to sample Nordic bands so it was mutually beneficial. Whilst researching we noticed most vinyls were printed on 180 gsm stock. We also discovered that they don't necessarily have to show the band's name nor the name of the vinyl. It's mostly about the artwork. However, it may require the viewer to know the band's image before the designer dismisses the vital information.
